We are not a family hotel in the classic sense – more of a place in which to enjoy an unforgettable holiday in the midst of nature. With us your children can just be themselves, appreciate their talents and explore the surroundings in a way that is fun. From our own experience we know that families often have needs that differ from those who are travelling without children - so we have responded by providing special offers, listening to your needs and requests, providing discounts on the room price and with our informal Marten cuisine. Wellness in MarliSpa

On the 3^rd floor, our MarliSpa, with its 10-metre heated Infinity pool on the rooftop, provides pure well-being – with a breath-taking panoramic view of the mountains. Kids can splash about to their heart’s content too and have a brilliant time. The adults-only sauna area with its two relaxation rooms is regarded as being a ‘quiet’ zone, and is the reserve of our adult guests. The selection of pampering treatments is supplemented by exquisite massages and wellness treatments which are available to book as add-ons.

JuliGarden in summer

In summer JuliGarden is a real favourite place for families. It is there that you get to enjoy the hot days together – from an invigorating splash in the 10-metre outdoor pool, to moments spent relaxing under the fruit trees. Children have plenty of space to freely run about here and explore nature in a way that is fun, while you as parents get to indulge in your very own well-being moments.

You never know what the day will bring – that's why it's particularly important to us that our cuisine is tailored to your needs. You can choose when, where, and how you want to experience our Marten cuisine. Informal and entirely according to your taste.

In the morning
Breakfast is always included at our hotel and includes a colorful selection of regional, fresh, and homemade delicacies. Feel free to browse through our breakfast buffet and help yourself to whatever you fancy.

At lunchtime
After a few hours in the fresh air or in the MarliSpa, it's time for a break. Sweet and savory snacks are almost always available during the day at the BEI ANNA coffee house.

In the evening
Our guests can look forward to a lovingly prepared 4-course menu. Enjoy regional specialties, creative delicacies, and great attention to detail—a relaxed and enjoyable end to an exciting day in the mountains.

Yes, we offer discounts for children on both the room rate and our culinary offerings. The exact discount depends on the age of your child and we will be happy to calculate it for you in an individual offer.

0-3 years old pay €25 per day.
4-6 years old receive a 50% discount on the room rate/with 2 full-paying guests.
7-11 years receive 40% off the room rate/with 2 full-paying guests
12-15 years receive 30% off the room rate/with 2 full-paying guests
16 years and older receive 10% off the room rate/with 2 full-paying guests

Ski-in Ski-out in Saalbach Hinterglemm

As well as ‘Ski-in and Ski-out’, the Marten offers plenty of additional convenient options – ski pass service directly at Reception, ski service – hand in your skis by 17:00 and they will be freshly waxed and ready for you next morning, while Hubsis Sport shop right at the Zwölfer-Nordbahn has everything you and your loved ones need for your winter holiday. We are also happy to advise you personally when it comes to choosing a suitable ski course.

JokerCard included in the summer

During the summer months your personalised JokerCard is included as part of your stay in the Marten – a real benefit for families who enjoy being active! It paves the way to many attractions in the region and also offers free use of public transport in Pinzgau. This helps make your summer holiday in the mountains even more straightforward and experience-filled. Are you in the mood for adventure?

Located on the sunny side of Glemmtal, tranquil and wonderfully connected to nature, Marten is a special place for families at any time of the year. In winter you get to enjoy ‘Ski-in/Ski-out’ at its very best – with the Hochalmbahn and the Zwölfer Nordbahn nearby, you are right in the Skicircus and can look forward to unforgettable days on the piste. In summer, there are countless tempting hiking and cycling routes, themed trails and exciting excursion destinations available. Thanks to the JokerCard you get to experience nature at its loveliest, along with free and via ‘soft mobility’ options, so your car can have a holiday too for once. In the evening the little ones fall into bed happy and content, while Mum and Dad enjoy a nice glass of wine in the lobby, enjoying the opportunity to take it easy. Sound really cool? Well that’s because it is!
