Booking and stay

When can I check in and until when do I need to check out?

Check-in is possible from 3 p.m., check-out is by 11 a.m. If you arrive earlier or would like to leave later, just let us know.

What are the cancellation conditions at Hotel Marten?

They depend on the season.
In winter:

Free of charge up to 4 weeks before arrival,
from 4 weeks before arrival 50% of the total price,
from 2 weeks before arrival 90%,
in the event of a no-show, the full amount.

In summer:

Free of charge up to 2 weeks before arrival,
thereafter a 90% empty-bed fee,
in the event of a no-show, the full amount.

The Austrian Hotel Contract Terms and Conditions apply; place of jurisdiction is Saalfelden.

Is breakfast included in the room price?

Yes, always. With the Marten flexible rate it is the only meal included; with the half board rate, a multi-course dinner is included as well.

What inclusive services does Hotel Marten offer?

Among other things: a welcome drink, daily breakfast buffet, access to the MarliSpa with infinity pool and adults-only sauna world, and free parking (details depend on room category). You'll find all included services on our Included services page.

What is the single occupancy supplement for a double room?

For a double room used as a single, we charge the list price per person per day plus 50%.

Is there a minimum length of stay?

At Hotel Marten, the minimum stay is 1 night; during the peak seasons around New Year's Eve and Carnival, it is 7 nights.
For Apartments Wawi and Friedl on the Alm 1350, the minimum stay differs by season: in winter it is 7 nights, in summer 4 nights.

Where can I take out cancellation insurance?

We recommend the Hotelstorno Plus insurance from our partner Europäische Reiseversicherung AG, which you can conveniently take out directly online.

Can I buy gift vouchers for Hotel Marten?

Yes, of course. With our vouchers you give someone dear a break at the Marten. When and for what exactly is up to the recipient.

Service and facilities in the hotel

Is there Wi-Fi in the hotel?

Yes, free of charge throughout the building.

What about parking?

You can park right at the hotel. Guests of our suites can use the underground garage free of charge; guests of the double and single rooms park directly in front of the building.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome for €35.00 per dog per night. Please let us know in advance, as not all rooms are suitable for a holiday with a dog. For a break with your four-legged friend, we recommend our Junior Suites Comfort and our hotel suites with living room.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Cash, instant bank transfer, and credit card.

Is a tourist tax charged?

The tourist tax is €2.95 per person (aged 15 and over) per night.
