Saalbach Hinterglemm offers a wide variety of activities for active bikers and hikers, nature lovers and families – Summer in this alpine region has something for just about everyone. Hikers in the Glemmtaler mountains will marvel at the unforgettable panorama stretching from the Hohen Tauern to the Leoganger Steinbergen. In winter, these slopes are teaming with skiers and snowboarders but in summer it’s reserved for hikers, with 450KM of trails that accommodate those out for a quiet stroll and challenge the most hardened mountaineers.
Six mountain trams transport young and old skyward to a rendezvous with an exhilarating alpine experience, with a wide variety of alpine trails to choose from. 12 well marked jogging and Nordic walking paths with a combined length of over 71 kilometers provide a great attraction for athletic guests. Over 180 kilometers of mountain bike paths, daunting single trails and the Addidas Freeride competition make Saalbach Hinterglemm Europe’s favorite off-road biking attraction. Whether you’re looking for short, easy rides or challenging marathon routes, tricky single trails or breathtaking downhills…there are trails for everyone from beginner to experienced to seasoned professional.
